Gustave's legal documents are published in English and in French, with the same content. For consumers residing in France, the French version prevails in case of discrepancy; in all cases, any ambiguity is interpreted in the way most favourable to you.

The meetgustave.app website (the "Website") and the Gustave browser extension (the "Extension") are published under the conditions below, in accordance with Articles 1-1 and 19 of French Law No. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy (LCEN).

Browser extension

The Extension is distributed through the Chrome Web Store (Google). A Firefox version, distributed through addons.mozilla.org (Mozilla), is planned. These extension stores apply their own terms.

Intellectual property

The Gustave name, character, logo, pixel art, animations, items, texts, the software of the Extension and the Website and their databases are protected by the French Intellectual Property Code. They belong to 3h53 SAS or are used with their owners' permission.

Any reproduction, representation, adaptation or extraction, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission is forbidden and constitutes infringement, subject to the personal uses allowed by section 13 of the Terms of Service.

OpenAI, ChatGPT, Anthropic, Claude, Google and Gemini are trademarks of their respective owners. Gustave is an independent project, neither affiliated with nor endorsed by any of these companies; their services are named only to state compatibility.

Character, pixel art and animations: the Gustave team.

Open-source software: the Service uses open-source software, each under its own licence.

Links and player content

Public pages may show content, websites and links chosen by players. We do not review this content before publication and are not responsible for the third-party websites it leads to; we act promptly when illegal content is reported to us.

Reporting illegal content

Each public page has a "Report" button. Anyone, even without an account, can also report content to hello@meetgustave.app, giving the information listed in section 11 of the Terms of Service. You can also report illegal content to the French authorities through the official PHAROS platform: www.internet-signalement.gouv.fr.
